Chiropractic and Cerebral Palsy

Jill's Story

Jill was diagnosed at a very young age with Cerebral Palsy.  She did not walk until she was 3 years old, she had a very choppy gate, and had multiple surgeries to lengthen the muscles in her legs and achilles tendons.  Jill had surgeries to help the nevres in her back, and suffered from constant hip pain.  She and her family tried many different avenues in health care to give her some relief.  When Jill was six years old they decided to give chiropractic care a chance.  Jill stated to get adjusted by Dr. Sara and in a few short months they started to see huge improvements! Jill now walks very smooth and fluent. Jill stated getting her legs and feet adjusted helps her walk better! She does not have the hip pain and feels her hips can function better.  Getting adjusted has given her the freedom to enjoy 4-H activities, riding horse, showing cattle, and other activities on the farm!  When asked what she would tell someone who was concerned about getting adjusted; she said “You will feel better! Try it, you have nothing to lose!”

Jill was recently in a car accident:

This fall Jill was involved in a high impact car accident.  She experienced neck pain, headaches, and her other symptoms had come back. In three months of care with Dr. Sara, she is back to normal and functioning at her best! This is a normal response for people who follow through with maintenance chiropractic care.
